This year (2010) the Festival comprises of the following events;

ASTRO Merdeka Individual Chess Championship
01 - 08 September
IGB Malaysia Open Chess Championship
AmBank Chess Challenge
Tan Sri Lee Loy Seng International Seniors Open
The National Age-Group Rapid Chess Championship
A new event, the International seniors open might be interesting to some older
new-commers !!!!
